SAND DUNE NEXT TO ROUTE 24 NEAR HANKSVILLE, UTAH - Charles F. Lindgren Photograph |
We decided on a road trip for our 50th wedding anniversary! We stopped in Hanksville after visiting Goblin Valley State Park on our way back to Salt Lake City to catch our midnight flight back to Boston! We saw these incredible sand dunes of red sand, and had to stop on Route 24. This image was taken where the sand was finally collected. Life finds a way!
