Sample #1 was obtained at the NESTA Booth at the NSTA National Convention in Philadelphia. The dark material in the sand is Horneblende. Sample #2 was obtained at the NESTA Booth at the NSTA National Convention in Boston! I can only assume the dark material in the sand is Horneblende again!
