Here's the make-up test for you folks who weren't bale to be with us on the 27th. Click on the image to turn it into a high resolution image. Click on the image a second time to greatly magnify it. Clicking on the Back Arrow will take you back to all of the samples.  I've provided you with some hint on some of the images regarding details that you can't see in the photographs, but were apparent when you looked at the physical sample. On the scantron sheet A= Igneous, B = Sedimentary, and C = Metamorphic. For extra credit, add the name of the sample to the numbered line. Caution! you can lose credit in the extra credit section if your classification doesn't match your sample name. For example if you say the rock is "A" Igneous, but you call it "Sandstone" you will lose credit for the sandstone part EVEN IF IT IS CORRECT. You will not lose credit for the extra credit selection if the type and name agree but are incorrect. Enjoy!!

Notes:

Sample #1 is composed of two flat layers, and has a gritty texture.

Sample #5 has a very high sheen to it.

Sample #10 is very flat.

Sample #11 has purple crystals.

Sample #22 has a slight sheen to it.
