This was one of the first samples I collected. I really didn't have a clue as to what it was, but I thought it was great! It is in the same small piece of shale as my supposed trilobite  tracks.  The sample is Ordovician. There is a very fluid appearance to the sample. If it didn't bulge out from the rock, I would call it a groove f some sort. But it does stick out from the matrix making it an unknown.
