As you can tell from the two photographs, most of this sample was actually small pebbles. Shown below are images of some of them. I always am amazed that with a sample like this, the highly magnified samples (above) look identical to the 1:1 macro photographs (below). It's almost impossible to separate the two without a scale bar!
